Janine Lemke-Sofianos
Planner . Designer . Stylist
Janine Lemke-Sofianos, founder of Lace & Champagne Events, has the experience, connections, knowledge, and insight to provide her clients with only the very best.
A San Diego local and graduate of Torrey Pines High School, Janine continued her education overseas at the prestigious École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) in Switzerland, earning a bachelor’s degree in international hospitality management. She worked at several upscale and luxury resorts in the San Diego area in a variety of roles before taking time off to raise her children and start her company in 2013.
Janine’s love for the hospitality industry was inspired by her father at a young age and was fostered throughout her youth. At age 15, she got her start as an assistant pastry cook at Mille Fleurs in Rancho Santa Fe. Her roles and experience evolved over the coming years.
Having spent the majority of her life in the hospitality industry, Janine is truly passionate about what she does. Nothing is more gratifying than helping people and bringing joy and happiness to a special occasion.

When she's not planning or designing her next event, Janine enjoys traveling, cooking dinner for her adorable kiddos and trying to keep sane in this crazy world of ours.
Robin Soriano
Planner . Designer . Stylist
Robin Soriano, Event Producer at Lace & Champagne Events, got her degree in Hospitality Management from James Madison University, and has experience not only planning weddings, but managing large scale medical association events, board meetings as well as intimate donor gatherings.
Robin moved to San Diego, from Northern Virginia in early of 2018 and jumped right into the event planning scene joining the Lace & Champagne team. Later that year she continued her education by obtaining her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) in Fall of 2018.
She enjoys combining her passion for sustainability with her love of events working to educate clients on sustainable or reusable items for their weddings, and how they can minimize waste on their special day.

When she’s not planning or designing her next event, Robin enjoys running around San Diego, gardening, and going on hikes with her husband.
